Montale Aoud Queen Roses by Montale Perfume. An alluring fragrance fit for an evil queen, Montale Aoud Queen Roses perfume is a darker version of a traditional rose scent. It features roses from both Arabia and France along with other floral scents, such as princess tree and hibiscus. The base notes of leather and patchouli add some additional musk and woodiness. Launched in 2007, this perfume also features the highly regarded oud, or agarwood. This resin comes from agar trees in Southeast Asia that are infected by a specific parasite. It is so rare that just one pound of oud can cost thousands of dollars.
Nose Pierre Montale is known for using oud in many of his creations. He opened his namesake perfume house in 2003 and relies on oriental ingredients he learned about during his years making scents for Saudi Arabian nobility. His products come in special aluminum bottles that ensure each fragrance lasts for a long time.
